Interporto di Trieste SpA is a company active in intermodal logistics with registered office and main operating unit in the Municipality of Monrupino, in the locality of Fernetti, near the Italian-Slovenian border and with a second operating unit acquired in December 2017 in the municipality of San Dorligo della Valle.
Since 2018, Interporto di Trieste has held 83% of the shares of Interporto di Cervignano del Friuli SpA.
The Group offers modern facilities and innovative services to national and international transport operators, also acting as a back-port area to support the maritime terminals of the Port of Trieste, Monfalcone and Capodistria.

Interporto di Trieste SpA is located in a strategic position that facilitates connections between the markets of Central and Eastern Europe and the Mediterranean basin.
In addition to these historical flows of goods, Interporto di Trieste – by developing its role as a back-port for the Port of Trieste and leveraging the competitive advantage of the "Free Point" – aims to position itself as a logistics hub potentially capable of intercepting goods flows originating from the Far East of Asia and destined for Europe or other regions.
